Muggle Cooking Class

Dy;an breathed deeply. It was her first class, she was coming in at the middle of the school year and she was a bit frazzled. She wrote " Welcome to Muggle Cooking" on the board and stood behind the main counter in the room. There were several other counters equipped with stoves, sinks and other kitchen things for the students. There was 16 students, and if they all showed up, each would have a partner to work with. She paired them up as so and would check their names as they came in:


fallon weasley, marie cross.
oliver white, patrick wood.
audrey edwards, pamala wood.
aliana stone, peyton silver.
kameron sandoval, bryn smirth.
xaldin merdalos, skyler riddle.
tom riddle, december archer.
exie gamma,serena miller

She then waited for the students to file in so class would start.

Audrey walked into class and smiled. She was estactic that class had started up again, and was even more excited that she was paired with someone from her house. She would at least know who they looked like.

She then noticed though that it was a different professor than it had been before break, but she shrugged. Their old teacher had been the headmistress after all.

"Hello Professor," she said as she sat down.

Patrick walked into class and saw that he was not partnered with Alli. He frowned but shrugged. It was probably for the best, he didn't want to snog her in class. Too many sharp objects. He nodded to the teacher and to the girl who was there and sat down.

Oliver was cool, so at least his partner wasn't someone he had no clue who he was.

Alliana made her way into the classroom, her brow arching slightly when she realized that it was a new Professor. Shrugging her shoulders a bit, she next turned her attention to the partnered pairs, noting she was going to be with a girl named Peyton. She'd never officially met her, but the thought didn't really bother her all too much.

Seeing her boyfriend already there, she was slightly sad that she hadn't been partnered up with him instead, but she supposed it might have been better off that way. He was such a distraction for her, and in such a hazardous classroom - consisting of many different ways to cut and or burn herself - it was probably better off she work with someone else. She chuckled a bit at the thoughts.

Moving over to be next to him until class started, she gave him a kiss on the cheek in greeting before waiting for the rest of the class to show up.

Pam walked into class and nodded to the new professor. She wondered why they had a new professor but thought nothing of it. The headmistress probably had a lot to do. Her brother was sitting next to Alli, she remembered her from some of the other classes.

"Hey Pat!" Pam grinned and sat down on his other side. She could sit next to her brother till class started. She nodded over to Alli and waited for the rest of the class.

Dylan smiled at her students, " Hello class, well I'll just introduce myself while we wait for everyone else. My name is Professor Rose, but feel free to call me Dylan. This is gonna be a very easy going class. If you try, you pass. If i see you arn't making any effort at all, that would be a different story. And my only rule is try not to burn the place down. " She smiled and chuckled a bit at her own joke.

" So today we will be making my favorite treat, carmel fudge brownies. But first, has anyone ever tried muggle cooking before?" She said while pulling some pans and ingrediants from the cupards.

Audrey raised her hand. "I have ma'am."

No need to broadcast her blood status to the class, though she wished that she knew some people better. She knew Robert, but he wasn't in this class.
