Have we met before?

After a few days Jay was looking for some kind of relax. His new headboy title was giving him too much headaches, but he didn't complain, it had some advantages that he loved, like walking through the castle during the night and nobody saying anything about that. Yeah, he deffinitely wondered why the title had been given to him as he liked to break the rules so much, but he wouldn't ask the headmistress just in case she suddenly changed her mind.

So he headed down to the lake. It was a sunny day but it was not specially hot. Autumn was arriving so the temperature outside was also getting lower but he didn't mind, he liked that weather. After walking a bit he finally laid under a tree, closing his eyes and enjoying the sun on his face.

That perfect day of the beginning of autumn was heavy on Morgaine's heart; the summer had passed like a blur, and now here she was, having contradictory feelings about her favourite season, this would be her last while in Hogwarts, and a longing feeling was fighting it's way with the happiness that always engulfed her when the leaves started turning orange.

She had her eyes closed, and was concentrating on feeling the cool air on her cheeks, the book open on her lap with her index finger marking where she had stopped reading, and her body accommodated just right in that branch she had discovered a few years ago. A million thoughts were crossing her mind, and she was glad that she could be alone, for it seemed like Hogwarts was full of noisy little first years; that was definitely the worst part about being a prefect: having to deal with annoying kids; 'but the prefect's bathroom makes it worth it' she thought with a smile.

Suddenly, a noise interrupted her peace, and she groaned under her breath, 'if it's a first or second year they're going to get some awful prefect scolding for interrupting me' she thought while shifting to see through the branches who the intruder was. Laying lazily right under her, was a boy that seemed to be about her same age. She didn't want to disturb him so she seated herself and leaned back on the tree trunk, but somehow, she lost her balance and with a lot of noise and a few screeches, she unwillingly made her way down and fell right next to the boy.

Jay was in peace, enjoying the weather and the silence. That was exactly what he needed and a smile started dancing on his lips as the day was being amazing, and for the first time his thoughts were not swimming in his love problems, which was a point to take, the whole thing stressed him a lot.

But suddenly his peace and silence was broken when he heard something falling next to him and a scream left his lips.
"Holy shit!" he said opening his eyes and frowned when he saw a girl there. Huh it seemed that girls falling from the trees was beginning to be normal. It was Jay's second time. He thought he had seen the girl before but wasn't sure where. "Oh....are you okay?" he asked glancig up to the tree, holy shit the fall must hurt.

the fall felt like ages, and Morgaine could see it in slow motion: how the tree branches passed close to her body and the leaves falling slower than her, she also saw the startled face of the boy that she fell next to, and even though the pains was significant, the boy's face was something pretty funny.

Between the awkwardness of her fall and the boy's face, She couldn't hold in the roar of laughter that came out from her; while rubbing her sore bum, she nodded to the boy "yes, don't worry apart from my pride and a bruise that will last a few weeks, everything's fine" she said between laughs and frowns from the pain.

"it was a good thing I didn't land on top of you, that would be awful" she said, and then nodded politely to him "I'm Morgaine Arkanian" she said with a smile.

When the girl started to laugh, Jay's features relaxed considerabily and a chuckle left his lips. As she introduced herself Jay was almost sure he had heard that name before, but it seemed that he had been imagining things for the last days so he ignored the feeling.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jayden Roosvelt, you can call me Jay" he said with a nice smile "Oh and it wouldn't have been the first time someone lands on me, I'm starting to get used to it "he said jokingly with a soft laugh remembering how a few nights before Julie had landed on him at the forbiden forest.

"Jay, that's a nice name you have" she said when he introduced himself. "oh so you're used to girls falling on you? shouldn't it be 'for' you?" she asked with a small chuckle "maybe you have your own gravitational force" she said with a serious analytical tone that didn't match her grin.

"so, now that we've been formerly introduced by this lovely tree, tell me more about you" she said while crossing her legs and sitting in front of the boy.
