Ryan was going crazy shopping today. He couldn't help it. He was excited to be spending Christmas Eve with Reyna. It wouldn't look too good if he didn't give her tons of presents. His mother raised him to spoil his girlfriends and wives. In the past he didn't spoil his girlfriends but Reyna was different. Ryan actually loved Reyna and didn't mind dropping a lot of money on her. He was really like a little puppy dog. He loved that girl more than anything. Before he got to the quill shop he made a list of things he wanted to buy her. When he did get there, he dropped the list on the counter for the shopkeeper.

Purple School Quill
Blue School Quill
Purple Hippogriff Feather Quill
Spell Checking Quill
Self Inking Quill
Purple Ink
Blue Ink
Lavender Parchment
Lap Desk

"Can I also have a gift bags or gift boxes? Christmas ones please?" He smiled nervously. Ryan wasn't used to buying gifts for someone so he was feeling really nervous today.

Julie nodded. "Chrissie wrappings? Sure thing," she chirped before ducking into the backroom to grab the listed items. She wrapped all except for the self-inking mechanism, which she left out. “Would you like to get a quill for the self-inking mechanism, or just the mechanism?” she asked.

Ryan nodded. "Ya a quill too. Sorry not used to buying quills and all of that. Thanks for asking though. My girlfriend probably would've looked at me funny if I only gave her half of it." He grinned sheepishly.

Julie laughed, "Not a problem. What type of quill would you like?" she asked, turning to head into storeroom as she mentally tallied the sums.

Ryan thought for a little while before telling the girl what feather he wanted. These gifts for Reyna had to be perfect. "Another hippogriff feather will be fine. Thanks again." He smiled but was still really nervous. He hoped he wasn't making a fool out of himself.

Julie grabbed another hippogriff quill from the backroom and attached the self-inking mechanism to it before wrapping them and placing all the items in the bags. She looked down at the scrap of multicoloured parchment where she’d done her sums. “That’s… 68 galleons, please,” she said, handing the bags over the counter. “I hoep your gifts are well received,” she said cheerfully.
