| Christmas was her favorite time of year for two reason, vacation from school and presents. She loved spending time away from school with her family and friends. Fallon also loved presents for everyone and giving them out. This year she really hadn't bought much, just a little something for Jay..and Jax. Boys were hard to buy for but she had gotten each of them a little something she hoped they would like.
Early that morning she had owled Jax to meet her at the Leaky Cauldron and she was hoping he would show up. After all she didn't want to lug his Christmas present around all day. Running her fingers through her hair she sat down at a booth near the side of the room and smoothed her skirt out to rest in its proper place on her knee, nothing fancy just a simple black and red plaid skirt and a black v-neck sweater. She didn't see the point of getting any more dressed up to simply go to the Leaky.

| Jaxon made his way to the Leaky after taking his time getting dressed. He hadn't seen Fallon much since the party the upper years had thrown right before the end of term, and she had disappeared from that before he had really got a chance to talk to her. He wanted to look good. Of course, if you asked him, he always did, but for Fally he would go that extra mile to look presentable. So today it was dark jeans and a nice blue button up long sleeve shirt, with a white t under. The first couple of buttins he left undone. His hair was its normal messy array of 'I-just-shagged' look.
Entering the Leaky, he spotted Fallon right away and grinned at her as he saunted over. "Hey hey gorgeous. Looking good." He greeted her with a smirk and a kiss to the cheek, before seating himself. "You want a butterbeer or something?" He asked, noticing she didn't have a drink yet. He would've just ordered one for her, but he didn't know what she was in the mood for. For all he knew, she could want hot cocoa. He never assumed with Fally.

| Tapping her fingers along the side of her leg she stared off across the room not really paying attention to the room around her. She could hear a fire crackling in the fireplace and a scattering of people but it didn't phase her. Leaning back she straightened her skirt again and was just about to dig through her bag for some lip gloss when she heard his voice beside her booth.
Straightening up slightly she blushed slightly as he took a seat across from her. "Thanks Jax, you look presentable for once. You going on a hot date after you leave here." Smiling she pushed her hair away from her eyes and leaned forward against the table. "Um not really in the mood for butterbeer but I was thinking about some hot apple cider." Deciding to go ahead and give him his present now she slipped a small bag off of the floor and pushed it across the table towards him. "Its not much but I wanted to get you something." When he looked into it he would find a couple of cds, and a certificate for cheesecake from the sweets shop. "Merry Christmas"

| "No need to thank me for speaking the truth Fally. As for the date, you never can tell I guess. But seeing you is reason enough to atleast attempt to look decent." He flashed her a cheeky grin and playful wink, before ordering her a hot apple cidar, and himself a butterbeer. He grinned as she slid a bag that was no doubt his Christmas present from her, and since he was about as impatient as her when it came to exchanging gifts, he took the thij silver box out of his pocket and laid it gently on top the table in front of her. Inside was the platinum charm bracelet he had bought for her. It already had a few chams on it, ones he had picked himself. There were a couple music note ones, a badger, and a lion. He hoped she liked it.
He watched her as their drinks arrived, and silently opened the bag she had given him, too curious to wait for long but still watching her for her reaction to his present.

| Rolling her eyes at him she reached down absentmindedly and smoothed the hem of her skirt out. "If that was good enough reason you would have started showering when we were in the second year." Smiling she shook her head at him, one hand on the table top, the other against her thigh. When he placed the small silver box on the table she picked it up slowly and looked it over for a second. "You know you didn't have to get me anything Jax."
When she popped the box open an instant smiled appeared on her face as she ran a finger over the bracelet and its charms. Picking it up she looked it over more, "Jax its beautiful thank you so much." Extending her hand towards him she smiled, "put it on me, please?"

| Looking at the things inside the bag, Jaxon simply chuckled at Fallon's remarks. "Maybe. But things change Fally. Maybe now I just enjoy looking good for you." He paused in his perusal of the CDs she had gotten him to send her a smirk, before rolling his eyes at her. "Fally. You say that every year. You should give it up already. I'm always gonna be getting you something on Christmas. So get over it. Hey!" He couldn't keep back the grin that appeared. "I've been lookin to get these CDs for weeks! Well Fally you've done it again. Always the perfect prez. Thanks. The cheesecake was a nice touch. You always did know the way to a mans heart was through his stomach."
Jaxon winked at her, and was glad to see the smile his gift put on her face. She looked gorgeous already, but she glowed now. He set aside her gifts carefully and obliged her request to put the bracelet on her. "Of course." He replied simply, and take the charm bracelet and clasped it around her wrist. "I'm glad you like it. Picked out the charms myself." He grinned proudly. "Never knew how hard it would be to pick out charms before." He remarked absently.

| Smiling she leaned against the table a bit more as she looked towards him. "Jax, Jax what am I going to do with you." Glancing towards the box again she nodded, "As I will continue to say it every year. You shouldn't spend money on me." As he opened his present she watched him intently, "I remembered you saying something about them one night on patrol and I looked for them as soon as we went on break, lucky you I have an in at the music store." Chuckling she shook her head, "what can I say, I know what you love."
With her hand extended she waited for him to put the bracelet on her before she took her wrist back and examined the charms more closely, they were perfect and matched her exactly. "I do, I love it." Leaning forward as much as possible she gave him a kiss on the cheek before settling back down into her seat. "Thank you Jax, Im going to wear it every day."

| "Kiss me, hug me, love me...those all seem like good things to do with me." He replied cheekily, giving her a wink to go with it. He rolled his eyes, but that was the only sort of reply he offered to her comment about not spending money on her. He would be doing it regardless. Had been since the day they met. You'd think she'd just be used to it by now. But nooooo. Not Fally. Had to be difficult about it. Bloody woman drove him insane. But in a good way.
He smirked over at her. "You're the only one who knows what I love Fally." And the only one I love, he mentally added. When she kissed him on the cheek, he didn't bother blushing or being embarrassed by it. He did gain a pleased grin though, and when she pulled back and stated she'd wear her bracelet every day, he smirked and leaned over, and paused briefly before pressing his lips to hers in a gentle but firm kiss. |

| With a roll of her eyes she brushed her hair away from her face as she settled back down in her seat with a smile. "I already do all three of those. So I guess we are all good." Shaking her head she sat there watching him for a moment before taking a sip of her cider. It was some of the best she had had in a long time. Fallon loved spending time with Jax, she had ever since they had met. He kept her on her toes and wasn't afraid to poke fun at her when it was called for.
"Yeah and the only one who will put up with your shenanigans as well." There wasn't much he could do any more that surprised her. Or so she thought. That was until he kissed her and before she could stop herself she was kissing him back. Suddenly she jumped back with a start and held her hand over her lips. "What in the name of Merlin did you do that for.?"

| "Maybe. But lets face it Fally. Someone's gotta put up with me. Who better than you?" He responded just as cheekily as ever. He never took it for granted though. Jaxon knew he was a handful, and a pain the ass for the most part. And he would never take Fallon for granted either. It took one in a million to put up with him on a daily basis, and she had been doing it for years. Fallon was special to him. Always had been, and always would be.
Jaxon enjoyed this kiss alot better than the first one he had initiated back in the prefects bathroom at school. Mostly because she was kissing back, and not just shocked by it. But sooner than expected it all came to a crashing halt when she jumped back, questioning him on it. He arched a brow at her. "I would think that's obvious Fally. I did it because I wanted to, because I've been wanting to for a while. You know me well enough to know I don't just go around kissing girls Fally. If I do it's because I genuinely like them."
He sat back in his seat, regarding her calmly, and spoke smoothly, not even slightly embarrassed. Jaxon was sure of his feelings for Fallon, and he couldn't be bothered to be embarrassed by it. Why would he? Fallon was one of the greatest people he had ever met, and the best girl around. But aside from that, it was just Jaxon. He was known for being cool, calm, and collected. It was just how he was. |

| "Truer words have never been spoken, I've done it for so long now that most of the time it doesn't even phase me." It was true, when they were younger he got on her nerves a lot but thats what little boys were supposed to do. As they got older he was her friend when other people didn't get her and it was something she knew she had taken for granted more than once. Jax had been her first crush and she still loved him. But now that she was with Jay there wasn't much wiggle room.
As she pulled back from the kiss she sat there dumbfounded by what had just happened. Surely he knew that she was with Jay now, but then again she had never told him. She really hadn't seen the point. Fallon felt her stomach lurch and had the sensation that she had just hit a brick wall. He liked her, but those times she had kissed him it seemed as if it didn't really matter that much to him. Closing her eyes for a second she held her hand against her forehead, this couldn't be happening. Not now. It felt like her heart was breaking but she was going to have to break his even more.
After a long moment she opened her eyes and lowered her hand to rest in her lap. "Jax you know I love you. I've loved you for years. But...I'm with Jay now. We've been dating since the night of the party. Almost two months now." She didn't know what else to say.. nothing was going to make it better.
