| Xaldin and Tommy arrived at the mansion and Xaldin wanted to make sure he kept as much distance as possible, he didn't want to put Tommy and Sky in that again, how would they be able to stop him, could they? Xaldin didn't want to think about this so he walked up to the shower and then sat down in the shower and turned on the water, he had locked the door behind him, they could easily unlock it but he didn't really care if they wanted to be with him that was their own choice but he had chosen that things would be better off alone and by himself. |

| Thomas sighed when they were back at the Riddle Mansion. He left Xal in the shower once he entered, trying to make sense of what had happened. Eyes turned Black. Sudden Different Behaviour, only to change back afterwards. He went through in his mind, trying to put pieces of the puzzle together. He could tell Xal felt... Worried? No, more like scared, or so it seemed. He heard the running of the shower water, and got everything else ready, blankets, couch which had been slightly modified so it could be used as either a couch or a bed. He also told the House Elves to bring Hot Chocolate up for later, he would of gone and done it himself, but he didn't want Xal going off on his own or something again. He just wished he could think of something to do... Something that would help out a little, but he came up with nothing, so he just sat outside the bathroom door, waiting for Xal to come out. | |

| Xaldin stayed curled up in a ball, on the shower floor. The water hit him in the face, the blood that was in his hair and face fell and went down the drain. The hot water felt so much better than the snow. Once he was done he shut off the water but he stayed curled up in the shower, he had told himself that he wasn't coming out until Sky came back, he would hurt himself if he had done something to Tommy. He began to weep in the shower and he began to shiver from the warm water turning cold. He wasn't going to comeout until he knew it was safe, he must have dosed off because he woke up to the door unlocking. |

| Thomas waited outside for a while, still trying to make sense of it every now and again, only to shut himself down before he just exploded. He kept waiting... Xal still hadn't come out, should he? No, he's probably just trying to keep his mind off it. But then... His mind came up with all sorts of worse things, eventually causing him to stand up and try to open the door, only to find it was locked, he fumbled for his wand and casted a quick opening charm. Looking inside, he saw Xal called up in a ball. "Xal, you okay?" He asked, knowing it was a bit of a stupid question under the circumstances, but... Well it made some sense. "Xal..?" He said tentatively again, hoping he hadn't hurt himself or something. | |

| Xaldin looked up at Tommy and looked back down "Tommy, you shouldn't be in here. Aren't you scared, I am". Xaldin began to cry "I don't want to hurt anybody, I don't know what is wrong with me". Xaldin was very weak and he really wasn't one to jump up and forget everything, he had done something very wrong, but he felt like he couldn't control it, but he knew it would be hard explaining that to Sky and Tommy. Xaldin was scared but he knew that he couldn't just sit around just to catch a cold. Xaldin tried to get up but only failed and slipped and fell back down. |

| Thomas couldn't help the wince from what Xal said, it looked as if he had just... Gave up. Not happening. His mind said to him. He sighed. "Xal. I am afraid, but that's something to be pushed to the side, right now, I don't really care if I'm scared so much I wish I could just shrink and disappear, the fact is, something happened, and we need to figure out what, and why." He said firmly. Sure, it was never something they would of guessed to happen, but it had, so now they just had to pick up what they had, and make it into something better. One thing to do would be to figure out how to get rid of whatever this... Affliction? Would that be the right word? Well... Whatever it was Xal had that made him change like that, and anything else that scared him along the way. | |

| Xaldin looked up at Tommy "I am not sure sure that it will be that easy, I mean look what I did". Xaldin continued crying and pulled his knees to his chest, but the shivers of coldness interupped the crying, he looked up at Tommy and shivered out "Can you help me"? Xaldin couldn't even stand was it because of exhaustion? Or was it just the after shock of what he did? Xaldin knew that it would be hard to get over what he did, but he knew he would have to it seemed his emotions had a big effect on this problem. |

| Thomas sighed. "Xal..." He said, trying to think of how to phrase it best. "Okay, what happened was terrible, but you had no control over it, and there was nothing you could do. In a sense, it wasn't even you. Plus, it's already happened, we can't go and stop you from doing it now." He said, before nodding and helping Xal get to his feet. "Trust me, it'll be fine." He said as he kept Xal balanced as he lead him out, passing him a towel along the way, he needed to get warm after all, and they went towards his room to get Xal into some clothes and warm. | |

| Xaldin wrapped his arms around Tommy and smiled "I am soo sorry you had to see it, I am just so sorry". Xaldin felt Tommy's warmth on his body "Thanks" he said once he was handed a towel, he dried himself off as he was being dragged into Tommy's room, "You know you guys don't have to do this if you guys are scared you didn't have to bring me here, I don't want to hurt anybody, but I don't think it is possible for me to hurt you two". Xaldin was then pulled into Tommy's room, he stood there as Tommy got him some clothes, it was always great because him and Tommy had the same clothing size, which made things a lot easier for situations like this. |

| Skyler made her way into the mansion quickly and quietly, broom gripped tightly in one hand, wand in the other. On the outside, she appeared to be as she always was. Strong, and calm. On the inside though, she was a mess.
She never imagined she would've ever had to do what she had just done. She never thought she would see her best friend kill anyone either. Or end up sending him off with her little brother afterwards. But she couldn't change what had happened, or what had needed to be done as a result.
She didn't bother going to her own wing first, instead more concerned with checking on her brother. So she made her way through the house to Tom Tom's wing, hood still up, bathing her face in shadow, wand and broom still in hand. Coming to a halt outside Tom Tom's bedroom door, she took a moment to exhale, hoping against hope she wasn't asked what she had done.
Doing it had been bad enough. Having the memory engrained forever was even worse. Sharing the burden was...Not an option. Not bothering to knock, she opened the door and slipped inside, closing it quietly behind herself as she took in the room. And it's occupants. |

| Thomas shrugged, one thing he was trying to do was haze out the details as best he could, that way it might be easier to cope with, he tried to block out the sight of each shard of glass, forget about the visage of the guy's face, torn in terror, and he definitely wanted to forget seeing those lifeless eyes. "No apologies, like I said, it wasn't you." He said firmly. "Plus, we know you wouldn't hurt us, so we're safe." He said, before pointing to the hot chocolate the house elves had put on the table a moment before. "Drink. It should help warm you up." He said, taking his own mug, making sure there was one for his sister there too. He let out a breath of relief when he saw his sister enter the room, and quickly put the hot chocolate down as he crossed the room and hugged her tightly. "You okay?" He whispered to her, he couldn't help but see that she seemed... Closed off a little, the same way she did whenever she needed to keep a wall round her emotions. "Talk about it if you feel like you need to, okay sis? We don't mind lending an ear to help out, okay?" He asked her. | |

| Xaldin got very anxious when Skyler entered the room, he had known she did something and he hated how he had to drag her and Tommy into this. He hated this feeling, the feeling that he might explode anytime soon, the feeling of losing control and not being able to stop what was inside him, whatever it was. Xaldin looked up at Sky "Yes, tell me what is on your mind, I need to know. I am sorry Sky, I don't know what is wrong with me, but I know that I can't keep hurting people, not like that, never again". Xaldin began to cry and he covered his face hiding his shame, "What am I"? He cried out. He couldn't help any of this, he just did something that would change his life and not only his, Sky's and Tommy's as well. He hated the fact that they were now, stuck, I mean they could just stop helping him, if they wanted to. |

| Skyler didn't waste a moment in wrapping her arms around her brother, embracing him tightly. "I'm alright." She whispered back, holding him close to her all the more tightly. She nodded to his and Xal's words, but was really in no hurry to release her brother. Just knowing he was safe and ok was enough for her. The hugging just reinforced that fact. In short terms, it made her feel better.
Finally releasing him at Xal's cries, she set her broom down silently, and pulled her hood down as well. The Elder wand, she kept in hand. Just in case. She didn't for one second believe it had actually been her friend who had done those things. In the short time it had all taken place, Skyler had been quick to observe the differences in the Xal she knew, and the one that had acted. The darkened eyes only confirmed the track her mind had naturally taken. A curse, or spell. And a dark one at that.
Everyone who took DADA would be able to put the clues they had been provided tonight together. She regarded her friend for a moment, choosing her words carefully before speaking, not wanting to add any further to his obvious despair. "It wasn't you. As in, not you, in your own mind. That much is completely obvious.
As for you hurting either of us, you should know better than most Xal that we are safest here than almost anywhere else. Including you. The protection against any kind of dark magic thats placed here should help. It's one reason I wanted to get you here as soon as possible. So don't concern yourself with that. You have my word, you wont be able to hurt anyone here."
She had used the term dark magic to direct them. Now to see if they picked up on her train of thoughts. It would help if they were all on the same page already, but no matter how often she herself forgot, Tom Tom was younger. But she was sure even he could've pieced the clues together so far to get to the same spot she was in her thoughts on the entire matter. As for Xal...well...he was distraught. Nobody could be expected to really be able to piece coheremt thoughts together after that. But she had to know either way. |
