Leo paced back and forth as his tawny owl watched him. Hooting slightly, Nebano flew over to his distressed owner. Perching on his shoulder, the owl bumped into Leo's head.
"Oi there, Neb, what gives?" He asked, stroking the owl's feathers. "Not liking the smaller place? Me, I'm content here. It's much smaller than that overrated castle, and I can actually find where everything is at. Now where's that darn ferret?"
Leo looked over to his couch where his little black ferret, Cecil, was sleeping. "There he is. Lazy little one isn't he, Neb? He sure loves his sleep." Walking over to the couch, Leo sat down near his ferret, being careful not to jostle him awake. The ferret continued to sleep, so Leo started over into the fire.
