Meet up among books

Patrick pulled out a book he needed for History of Magic and sat down at a table. It felt odd, it being his seventh year, but he wanted to go out with a bang.

Ugh, this book made zero sense to him. He put it down and went on the hunt for another book, finding the book he had begun to read last year on Animagi. This he set aside, for a bit of light reading.

He sighed. It felt odd being by himself, allowing his mind to wander. Did Pam seem distant over the summer or was that his imagination?

Alliana had decided that in an effort to make amends with her brother, she'd stop by and try and talk with him. Yet instead, she'd left carrying a few of his books that he'd taken out from the library. She wasn't sure why she'd agreed to bring them back for him but there she was, making the trek up toward the library.

She hadn't visited it often during her sixth year, but this being her last year she figured she'd end up being up there more often. She shifted the pile of four books to her other side, resting them on her hip a bit as she walked. At least it wasn't too far from where she had been.

A few minutes later and she pushed open the door to the library, settling the books back where they were supposed to be and turning with a deep breath to see who else was there. She didn't expect to see her boyfriend but smiled slightly. Until she noticed the deep look of thought situated on his face. She headed toward him curiously, making sure to keep quiet in the peaceful atmosphere.

Coming up behind him she gently lowered her hands on his shoulders, giving them each a light squeeze before she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Bear." She said softly, resting her chin on his shoulder. "What has you so deep in thought?"

Feeling a squeeze on his shoulders, Pat smiled when he saw it was his girlfriend.

"Hey Kitten," he said softly back. "Nothing much. My sister just seemed...distance over the summer. Not moody or anything, just not really wanted to spend much time in the house. Just wondering if I'm over reacting or something."

Shaking his head a little, he said "But what's new with you? I've missed you."

Alliana stayed where she was behind him as she listened to his dilemma, frowning a bit at how similar it seemed to Alex. It was a weird coincidence, but she decided not to think too much into it. "Maybe.. maybe she met someone?" She offered quietly, before shrugging. "I wouldn't worry about it too much.. not until she gives you more of a reason to." She offered again, not wanting her boyfriend to worry without having much of a reason.

When he changed the subject she paused for a second before letting him, shrugging slightly at his question. "Not much, really." She said honestly, grinning when he said he missed her. "I missed you too." She said, moving so she could give him a kiss on the lips. Leaning back she pulled a chair over so that she could sit on the side of him, resting her elbow on the table and leaning her chin on her palm.

"At least now I get to see you a lot more." Which made her immensely happy.

"Maybe," Patrick nodded but still inwardly he thought that Pam would at least tell him if she'd met someone. Unless she wanted to keep it from him.

Pushing it from his mind, he grinned against her lips as his girlfriend gave him a big old kiss.

"That is the best thing about coming back," he agreed. "Being able to see you."

He pushed the parchment and other materials off to the side so that way he could give his full attention to his girlfriend.

"Have you seen any of your other friends?" he asked.

Alli felt herself smiling again involuntarily when she heard him speaking, although her attention traveled toward the things he pushed away from him. "Oops." She said before meaning to, and she glanced back toward him with a slightly apologetic look. "Didn't mean to interrupt you." She said, biting her lip and looking a bit guilty. "You.. can get back to doing that.. if you want?" She said hesitantly.

She shook her head at his question. "My best friend from back home visited a couple of times, but besides hanging out with him, no." She said before deciding to reverse the question. "How about you?"

"Work or spending time with my amazing girlfriend?" Patrick said, pretending to weigh the options with his hands. Leaning over, he kissed her gently on the lips. "You win hands down. You're never an interruption."

"I went to a party over the summer," Patrick said. "Ian's. I think I saw you there." he said with a small smile.

"Oh! My best friend from when I was four came up to visit." he said just remembering the occurrence. "Actually we met up at a fair near my old flat."

Alli watched him with innocent curiosity as he began talking again, and she arched an eyebrow when he pretended to weigh out the options. Although when he leaned over and gave her a gentle kiss, she smiled against his lips before kissing him back. His kisses never failed in making her feel like she was floating on air. The smile remained even after she'd leaned back, her eyes meeting his. "Good to know.." She teased before softening, leaning forward to give him another soft kiss, glad she had his attention for at least a while longer.

She nodded in remembrance when he mentioned the party. "Yeah. For a little while at least." She said, thinking back to it with a smile.

Hearing about his best friend from when he was younger, the smile grew into a genuine grin. "Oh? That's awesome." She said cheerfully. "Four years old.. huh." She mused, picturing a cute little four year old Pat in her head with a chuckle. "How was catching up with him?"

Why was it that even when he started the kiss, he still felt as if he was floating on cloud nine when it ended? He guessed it was a good thing, and he knew it.

Grinning a little as Alli gave him another soft kiss, Patrick nodded when Alli said it was awesome. "It was cool actually. We'd moved away from one another when we were four so it was amazing being able to catch up. Jack was the one to recognize me, even after all these years."

Jack was also the one who'd gotten him into exercising more. Just a bit in the gym over the summer, a few muscles here and there. Mainly he'd gotten a bit jealous when Jack had seen a picture of Alli and almost drooled. Jack was built like a surfer, which one would expect being from the Land Down Under for twelve years.

Alli kept her attention trained attentively on Pat as he spoke, the smile staying painted on her lips. She was glad for her boyfriend, because it was obvious to her that meeting up with his old best friend had made him extremely happy. "Good thing he recognized you then, huh?" She said with a chuckle. "Guess you haven't changed much look-wise?" She'd never seen any baby pictures of Pat, so she couldn't actually be too sure.

She leaned forward a bit and rested her hands on his shoulders before letting them run down his arms with a smile. "I just noticed.. been working out over the summer?" She said with a smirk, her eyes lighting up with interest.

"Yeah, a little," Patrick nodded. "Just a few dumbbells."

He noticed how her eyes lit up and he smiled. Her reaction was cute, and it also showed him how silly he was for being jealous of Jack.

Alli nodded at his words, letting her hands move a bit so that they were teasingly trailing along the front of his shirt, down his stomach, and then along the top of his legs. She smirked a bit, letting her hands come to a rest on his knees. She gave them each a light squeeze. "I liked you just the way you were." She clarified, not wanting him to think she hadn't.

"But I do like what I see now too.." She teased with a wink, grinning up at him playfully.

Feeling her hands travel down his shirt, Pat got chills down his spine and goosebumps started forming on his arms.

He smiled at her when Alli said that she liked how he was before. But the grin grew when she said that she liked what shesaw now.

"Well thank you," he said. "I'd say the same but I always like what I see. Even if you were wearing a monkey costume and do a chicken dance."

Alli noticed the changing in his smile at each set of her words, and she only grinned some more in response. She ended up laughing when he mentioned her being in a monkey costume and doing the chicken dance. "Just the thought of that..." She wrinkled her nose, the smile still on her face.

"You're welcome, Bear." She said sincerely, before leaning forward a bit. "Love you." She said softly, reaching up to trace the outline of his lips. It hadn't been said in a while, and she liked letting him hear it just as much as she liked saying it.

"Love you too Kitten," he said softly as Alli traced the outline of his lips. Closing the gap, he kissed her gently but fiercely at the same time.

Alli felt the familiar rush of emotion everytime she heard him saying he loved her, and she felt a smile lighting up her face before she even realized it. She didn't have time to say much before he was leaning forward and kissing her. She wasn't complaining though, and she gently placed her hands behind his neck in order to pull him just a bit closer.

She kissed him back passionately, having missed being able to kiss him whenever she wanted like this.

Feeling her hands on his neck and feeling Alli kiss him back, Pat grinned against her lips. He knew they couldn't go too far--they were in the library after all.

Still, a good snog session never hurt anyone.

Alli continued to kiss him before biting down on his lower lip playfully, tugging on it lightly as she pulled back for some air. She was well aware of their surroundings and where they were, but no one was paying attention to them. And she was pretty sure they were no where close to being the first couple who used the library as a place to get to spend time together.. in all ways possible. Besides, they were just kissing.. no harm in that.

She kissed his neck a few times before giving him a couple of love nips, catching her breath before she began kissing him again. She kissed him softly at first, urging her lips to part a bit. The tip of her tongue ghosted playfully along his lips, one of her hands slipping into his hair while the other stayed pressing gently against the back of his neck.

Taking the time to get some air, Patrick gave a soft moan as Alli kissed and nipped his neck. Kissing her had got to be the best thing in the world.

Feeling her tongue knock on his lips, he gladly opened them up to let it in.

Once Alli felt Pat giving her the permission she needed she gently allowed her tongue to slide forward and into his mouth, letting it explore while teasingly rubbing against his. She was on the edge of her seat by now and absently she hooked one of her legs around a leg of her chair, standing up slowly and shifting herself even closer to him.

Considering the chairs didn't have arm rests on the side of them, instead of sitting back down in her own chair she gently placed herself on his lap, in a way so that she was basically sitting forward on him. This way, she was even closer to him and able to feel the heat from his body against her own. She gave him another few kisses, each one varying in intensity.

*Hello beautiful* he thought as Alli placed herself onto his lap. It was like heaven on earth right now. Just him and his girlfriend in a secluded spot.

He kissed her back, and trailed his kisses down her neck slowly, as to not rush anything.

Alli sighed softly when she felt his kisses trailing down her neck, and she turned her head to the side slowly to give him more access. Her neck was one of her sweet spots, as she was sure he was aware of.

She ran her hands down his chest and along his stomach before going back up, her hands slipping around his neck again. She didn't mind their slow pace, with him she never felt the need to rush anything.

Hearing her sigh, Patrick knew that he was hitting just the right spot. Feeling her turn her neck, he gladly took advantage of the larger area; making sure though not to make a mark anywhere.

Grinning as he felt her hands run down his chest, he wrapped his arms around her waist and gave a little squeeze.

Alli let her eyes flutter closed as she leaned against him a bit more then she originally had been, enjoying the feeling of his lips on the sensitive skin of her neck. She knew he'd be careful enough not to leave any noticeable marks, so she was content to let him do as he pleased.

As much as she was enjoying herself she didn't want him to feel left out, so after a moment she took his face lightly in either of her hands and gave him another lasting kiss.

She began to do the same thing he had been doing to her, ghosting her lips along his jawline before beginning to place kisses down his neck. She teased her tongue in a circular motion along one of the particularly sensitive spots before kissing it a moment later, smiling against his skin.

Patrick felt Alli lean against him even more, but felt his eyes widen as she gave him a big lasting kiss.

Moaning softly as she began to kiss his neck, Pat couldn't think of a better way to spend his time.
