Syllabus
Description:
Focuses on Ancient Magics, and magics not formally taught
Expectations:
- You are to respect each other and myself when ever they are in the class room, if this is ignored points will be taken and if needed detentions handed out.
- You must always come to class. If students are continuously late, or absent, then they will be warned, points taken away, detention, and then finally dropped.
- Notes need to be taken; this should be done even if the subject does not interest you, especially the older students, you will not pass your tests if you do not take notes.
Using the internet to answer questions is perfectly fine, but please answer in your own words, as best as possible.
Grading:
Grading will work as follows:
- Attendance: 4 points
- Participation: 6 Points
- Homework: 10 Points
- Final Exam: 30 Points
Passing
(O) Outstanding = 90 – 100 points.
(E) Exceeds Expectations = 75 - 89 points.
(A) Acceptable = 60 -74 points.
Failing
(P) Poor = 45-59 points.
(D) Dreadful = 30-44 points.
(T) Troll = 0-29 points.
Attendance:
- Classes must be attended. This also includes participating in class.
- If you are unable to make it to class please contact me before the lesson begins.
Homework:
Homework will be a regular occurrence and will most likely be assigned at the end of each lesson. Often enough it might be some form of short essay. It depends on what we do in class. When it's due and where it should be turned in will also be told to you when it is assigned.
