Unexpected meeting

Isabelle finished getting ready, pulling on one of her favorite dresses. After adjusting it to make sure it was fitting correctly, she moved over to her closet, which was filled with shoes. Selecting one of her black pairs, she slipped them on and returned to the mirror, fluffing her curls. Feeling as if she were presentable to go out, she grabbed one of her black jackets, and slipping it on, she sauntered out of her house.

Apparating herself to the front of The Three Broomsticks, she glanced up at the sign with a sigh. She hadn't been here in forever, but making a point of visiting all the places she'd once been familiar with, she figured this one might as well be the next on her list. Walking in, she made her way up to the counter, figuring out just what it was that she wanted.

Leighton finished getting dressed, one of her favourite dresses draped around her body. She could easily stay in and just have a drink, but she figured since she was dressed, why stay in and let her beauty go to waste? Slipping on a pair of black heels, she pushed down a few fly away hairs from her straight hair and she headed out, slipping a long white coat over her body.

Pondering on where to go as she walked down the streets of Hogsmead, she spotted the Three Broomsticks. It had been far too long since she had been in the place, figure she might as well since she was out. Pushing the doors open, as if some dramatic scene, she made her way to the bar. Though of course in her slight failure to stand up some times, she stripped and roughly hit the bar. Wincing slightly, she straightened herself out and pretended that it not had happened. Not like she did not have the urge to laugh, but she wanted to forget it since she was sure the woman standing next to her was sure to have seen her little failure in walking.

Finally deciding she'd try something new, she ordered a glass of Rose Wine, wondering how it would taste. Pushing the correct amount of galleons across the counter, she began drumming her perfectly manicured fingernails on the surface as she patiently waited for her drink. While she was waiting, a slight breeze indicated that the doors to the place had been opened, and she instinctively threw a glance over her shoulder to see who was walking in. Her attention was brought back in front of her when she heard the sound of her glass being placed on the counter. She offered the bartender a quick smile before she picked it up and took a tentative sip of it. Well, it didn't taste too bad. She shrugged inwardly, placing it back down.

A moment later and the glass shook from a sudden impact, and Isabelle blinked quickly, her eyes turning toward the source within moments, just in time to see the blonde she'd noticed coming in before straightening up with a wince. It took a lot, but Isabelle managed to bite back the grin that was dangerously close to surfacing, figuring that the woman wanted the moment to be forgotten. "Oh.. um.. are you ok?" She asked hesitantly, tucking some hair behind her ear as she watched the blonde.

Leighton took in a sharp breath and let out a soft cough. That was certainly going to bruise her ribs. Standing up straight, and scartching the back of her neck, she turned to the woman who had asked if she was okay and she gave a sheepish grin. Not so much in embarassment, but rather that she felt awkward for doing something like that. "No no, I am quite alright. My legs fail to cooperate with me sometimes," she giggled, letting the awkwardness go as she shooed it away with her hand as she brought it back down to her side.

Pulling her coat off, exposing her black dress, she folded the thing and placed in on the bar stool next to her. She looked down at the woman's Rose Wine, and that reminded her to get her own drink. She shot a quick glance at the drink menu and pursed her lips together tightly. Not much of selection of alcohol. Shrugging inwardly, she ordered a white wine before she looked back over to the woman. "Sorry, I didn't introduce myself after my not so hot moment. I am Leighton Vega," she merely charmed kindly as she held out her hand for the woman.

Isabelle continued to watch quietly, doing her best to fight off the amused expression, as the woman straightened herself out with a sheepish grin in her own direction. She gave a small one in return, her head inclining forward in a subtle nod when the woman assured her that she was alright. She couldn't help but grin in good humor when she heard the other giggle, watching as she shooed the air with her hand. "Well, ok, if you're sure." Isabelle said a bit uncertainly, before shrugging. Of course the woman was sure, why would she even bother saying that? Oops.

She gazed toward her company a moment longer before bringing her attention back to her drink, which she took another sip of. The woman had busied herself with ordering another drink, and Isabelle was almost content to just sit there in the silence.. almost. That was, until she felt a gaze on her again. Angling her head in the woman's general direction, she gave her a small grin as she shrugged nonchalantly. "It's quite alright." She said simply, then took in the name she was given. It sounded so familiar for some reason.. she gave Leighton a weird look for a moment as she thought about it, but not wanting to seem obvious, she gave her another smile. Guiding her own hand out to grasp Leighton's, she gave it a shake. "Pleasure, I'm Isabelle Galeotti."

Leighton smiled as she allowed her head to nod slightly in response. Even if she had been in tons of pain, never worth the time to express it, at least to her, it was not worth her time. Shrugging ever so lightly, she watched as her drink was poured and slid across the bar top. Taking the glass in her hand, she sipped at it before looking over to the brunette companion of hers. Isabelle? The name had an eerie familiar ring to it. Last name wise as well. Dropping her odd suspicion of the name, she grasped the womans hand and shook it before lettering her hand return to her side. "Pleasure as well Isabelle."

Smiling and taking in her looks, she sighed silently and placed the glass onto the top. "So what brings you here this evening?" she questioned, simply curious as to why a pretty woman would be in a bar by herself. Of course, same could be asked of her too..
