The Club...or the apartment above...

Gwen had her workclothes on (

) and was clearing up some tables when she heard a slurred announcement,
"Gentlemen! Get rrrrready! For our enchanting...en-enchanting....Colette!" her boss slurred. The clud went wild and she took her cue.
Climbing up onto the small stage she grabbed the mic and started dancing,

"Baby, can't you see?
I'm calling a guy like you
Should wear a warning
It's dangerous, I'm fallin'

There's no escape
I can't wait, I need a hit
Baby, give me it
You're dangerous, I'm lovin' it" she sang almost purring. She really hated this job, but it was this or the streets. So she chose this.

"Too high, can't come down

Spinning 'round and 'round
Do you feel me now?" she sang while being lifted into the air by a black rope and hanging by her feet until the beat exploded and she jumped back down.

"With a taste of your lips
I'm on a ride

Don't you know that you're toxic?" She sang dancing while the crowd slurred and cheered. Then she saw a familiar face and froze for a second. She finished the song and jumped off the stage much to the male crowds dissapointement and her bosses fury. He yelled at her but she couldn´t hear him. All she could see was that face. She walked up to the familiar face with her eyes cast downwards.
"Well...I guess now the cat´s out of the bag..."

Jay had been invited to some kind of party, such as a concert or something like that his friend has told him. So he got dressed with some black jeans and a white shirt with a tie and got to the direction his friend has told him to go. The club was really crowded and a nice voice was singing. He found his friend between the people and he took a glass of vodka, but he was really surprised when he turned to the stage and saw G there. It seemed that she caught his look too and a couple of minutes later she was in front of him glancing the floor.

"Meow?" he said teasingly and took her chin making her look at his eyes "You have a really nice voice, and you look spectacular tonight" he said smiling and noticed that his friend was looking at G with his mouth open.

Gwen smiled a bit and hugged him before noticing his friend staring at her. She really hated her uniform but it was part of the job so she wore it. But his friend was starting to make her feel uncomfortable and she wished she could close the blouse more but alas, she could not.
"Thanks J but..I´m really just doing my job..." She sighed looking down again. "Please...please don´t- tell anyone. Okay? I don´t need that kind of reputation. I´m weird enough as it is..." She said. Then her Boss marched over and dememded for her to dance on the bar again but she just told him to shove off and that her shift was over. His blurred mind took a minute but then he just caught some blondes eye and left.
Gwen looked at J thinking that now that he knew she wasn´t just a singer he´d not want to have anything to do with her.

Jay asked his friend to go and bring him a new glass of vodka so now he was alone with Gwen and smiled, hugging her back.

"Don't worry, noone will now, it will be our little secret" he said, but then a man approached them. Jay looked at him with an eyebrow rised, but the guy left quickly and his friend still wasn't back. Looking at her he smiled and cleaned with his finger a bit of lipstick that was oddly on her chin. "How's the break going?" he asked winking at her "By the way, sorry my friend, he is looking for a girl a bit desperately"

Gwen smiled and whiped off the rest of the lipstick. She ha been surprised that J had even recognized her, what with the amount of makeup she had to put on for work. Heavy eyemake up, pale skin, red lips-->her dress code.
She drank a shot and felt better immedietly.
"Thanks. And it´s okay. I´m used to it." She said. And boy was she ever. Most of the crowd was male for Christs sake. "You want to go upstairs? I live in the apartment up there it´s a bit quieter and then I can rid of this stupid uniform." She suggested smiling.

Jay nodded at her suggestion.

"Sure, there's too much noise here for me" he said with a smile and his friend came back still staring at Gwen. Jay rolled his eyes and drunk his vodka quickly, giving his friend the glass back and saying him goodbye. He would probably think he was going to have a hot moment with G but Jay didn't mind about what his friend thought, he just followed G upstairs.

Gwen rolled her eyes at J`s friend and made her way upstairs unlocking the door and letting them in. Snix slithered around the lamp as she picked up some clothes to make some more room. The apartment was small and simple with an extra room for the bed and bathroom and a small kitchenette. "Make youreself at home J." She smiled going behind a screen to get changed but her head was still above it so they could talk. "So, how did you find this place? it´s pretty recluisive." She asked pulling a tanktop on. Finally she emerged wearing jogging shorts and a tanktop and sat on the bright green couch motioning for him to join. She tied her hair back and wiped her face once with an enchanted cloth removing all that yucky makeup.
"My break is fine so far, yours?"

Jay looked all around him, smiling at the modest apartament but it was beautiful. He looked at G while she was speaking.

"Well, John, my friend there downstairs, told me to come here" he said shruggin "I was bored at home and decided to come" he added smiling. Then he stared at her slightly when she appeared again and smirked, looking back at her eyes. "Well my break should be better but it's not going bad at all" he said nodding and sat down at the couch with her, smiling while looking at her taking off her makeup.

Gwen smiled, "Well I´m glad you came. My break is now considerably better. The only one I´ve talked to is Snix and...well....he get´s a bit sarcastic after a few days." She laughed at the look her familiar gave her. She noticed his stare and smiled quizzically, "What is it? Do I still have makeup in my face?" She asked still smiling softly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

He laughed a bit looking at the snake and blushed slightly when she noticed his stare. He shook his head.

"It's just that you look sexy, but that's not new" he said shrugging "You know I've always thought you are a sexy girl" he added sticking his tongue out at her.

Gwen laughed and stuck her tongue out back before raising an eyebrow,
"You think I´m sexy with no makeup and in my comfy clothes? Well thanks Hon so are you. A sexy guy. Not a sexy girl." She laughed resisting the urge to pinch his tongue. She leaned against him looking at the sky through the big window.

He laughed a bit

"Thanks, G" he said looking at her leaning against him. Okay he loved Fallon but Gwen was getting a bit too near, at least he knew he wasn't the kind of boy that cheated, but if he in any moment would have the intention of doing it, he would need to speak seriously with his girlfriend. At that moment everything was still allright, and damn, Gwen was his friend, one of his best friends, it wouldn't be fair to think anything sexual about her. Shaking a bit his head for leaving that thoughts appart he watched through the window too. "It seems like it's going to rain"

Gwen knew his limits and would never cross them. He was her best friend, she knew he didn´t mean 'sexy' like others would. She also knew he´d know she´d never try anything with him. She was planning on staying single thankyouverymuch. Her job made her wary of guys so that he was her best friend meant a lot. She knew that she could just be herself around him without feeling awkward. She saw him more as a brotherlikebestfriend.
She nodded at the weather. "True. I hope it does. I love rain. I hate water. But I love rain." she frowned, "Wait..that didn´t make any sense...ahwell." She sighed chuckling.
"You hungry?" She asked getting up, climbing over the couch to reach the kitchenette which was right behind it. She turned looking at him waiting.

He was absolutely sure that his relationship with Gwen was just the perfect friendship, so he said himself that he hadn't got anything to worry about. He couldn't help but laughed when she explained that she liked rain but not water. Then she asked if he was hungry and he shook his head.

"No not really" he said "But I can have something for drink" he added sticking again his tongue out at her

Gwen rolled her eyes playfully at him sticking out his tongue and laughed,
"You know, one of these days I´ll invent a tongue remover." She teased holding up a water battle, "Water okay?" she asked taking one for herself as well.

Jay glared at her pulling his tongue back inside his mouth.

"Not removing my tongue, girl, or I couldn't talk to you anymore" he said smiling and nodded takin the water and sipping it a bit "Thanks" he said and thought in silent for a while. Finally he smiled brightly "So what do you want for Christmas present?" he asked.

Gwen poked him in the Side playfully and laughed"That true. Oh whatever would i do if you couldnt Talk amymore?" She sighed overly dramatic and teasing, then she smiled.
"oh i don't Know J, whatever you get is Fine, what dou you want?" She asked propping her Head on her knees sitting back on the couch.

Jay laughed at the poke and at er words, shrugging later.

"Same here, I don't mind G, whatever you want to buy will be OK" he said winking at her, thinking know what to buy her, what to buy to Fallon, to his family.....oh there were too many presents for that Christmas day to buy.

Gwen smiled, she had an idea already. OhMerlin...she should make a list of everyone...nah..She´d just lose it again.
"So much to do around Christmas time. I still need to put up a tree. At the moment it´s in my closet needling on my shoes." she laughed. She sipped at her water and almost choked in shock. "J! Look!" She smiled pointing out the window. Indeed...it was snowing. She walked up to the window and looked out happily. She LOVED snow.

Jay smiled nodding in agreement with her words.

"Yeah, at home my sister and parents put the three a couple of days ago but I have to buy a lot of presents which suposes a shopping day and I'm not a big fan of shopping days" he said sighing when suddendly she told him to look out the window. Jay smiled brightly, he loved snow. He stood up and walked right to the window too, looking outside standing next to G. "Wow...snow, how lovely" he said "It looks beautiful"

Gwen was litterally bouncing up and down in excitement like a little kid.
"Snow!" She squeaked.
Normally Gwen was the quiet-yet-insane kind of person.
But NOT when there was snow.
"SNOWSNOWSNOWSNOWSNOW!" She thought hyperly beaming. Her eyes lit up at the mere prospect of the white fluffy substance. And now..IT WAS SNOWING!
"I only get like this once a year! WHEN IT SNOWS!" She cried happily opening a smaller window and sticking her head out catching snowflakes on her tongue. She emerged with her dark curls dusted with a large amout of snow..
"I love snow!"

Jay rised an eyebrow ant Gwen's reaction and he couldn't help but he really was laughing his ass off. When she emerged with her curls full of snow he laughed more and closed the window.

"Don't be silly, it's really cold, you'll get ill" he said still laughing and run his fingers through G's hair, taking the snow off, but leaving it wet.

Gwen pouted but let him.
"What´s so funny?" She asked before glancing at the now-closed window and beaming again.
Then her face lit up with mischief and she shook her curls spraying him a bit. She laughed. Her hair was straight now though. And pretty wet. She picked up a sweater and pulled it over even though it was too long.
So there she stood, soaking wet hair, a sweater that almost reached her knees and a huge grin on her face.
"Wanna bake cookies?" She asked still beaming at the window as if it had just told her Christmas was early. She had TONS of baking stuff but her sister had once forbade her to cook alone because she´d set the kitchen on fire.
Fire shmire....it was the cookies fault...

"You are funny" he replied with an innocent smile and smiled when he felt his face wet also by her shaking, so now both were wet. Then he watched her putting a sweater on which was kinda big for her, it seemed to be big for him also and that was a thing because he was brawny. Then he rised both eyebrows at her question, but smirked.

"Yeah! I love cooking, and cookies, and baking.....okay it's enough, les do it" he said with another innocent smile.

Gwen laughed and pulled him over to the counter while she got out te ingrdients.
"Well that´s good because I´m so bad at it I almost burned the apartment down!" She chirped stiil hyped by the SNOW!
She got out an old cookbook.
"How about plain and simple chocolate chip?" She suggested holding up the book to him.
