A Walk In the Park

Subject: A Walk In the Park Sun Jan 23, 2011 8:23 am

Aubrey was completely enjoying the winter. The snow was beautiful and fresh. It was below freezing but was gorgeous none the less. Before leaving her home to go for a stroll in the park, she had to get ready. As usual, she took some time preparing her outfit to make sure she looked perfectly presentable. First she had to find a shirt, that was usually the hardest part. She opened the doors to her walk-in-closet and observed every shirt she had.

Considering the weather, she knew she should wear a long sleeve shirt but wasn't sure if that was want she wanted to wear. When she finally found an aqua sweater she was quite fond of, she smiled. Next she needed to find some pants. That was the most simple part. She skimmed her jean section and found her favorite skinny jeans. The last part was finding her shoes. Keeping the weather in mind, Aubrey decided on some black boots.

Now that her outfit and hair were all set and ready to go, she could leave. Aubrey apparated to Potter Park and began walking around. Unfortunately, she couldn't tell if there were many people around or not so she decided to just walk without a care in the world observing all the beauty of the park she was in. The last time she was there was the summer when it was much warmer. This was most certainly a change.

Sora walked into the park with a grin he then spotted Aubrey "Aubrey Hi"! Sora walked over and hugged Aubrey "How are doing today, isn't it nice out"? Sora had known Aubrey as the headmistress but they wern't close friends, maybe that should change, Sora always loved having friends.

As Aubrey was walking, someone approached her excitedly and hugged her. At first, she didn't know who it was but once she got a good look at them she realized it was Sora. They didn't know each other well at all but she was his boss and remembered employing him. Plus, she had sent him countless Owls about new things happening around Hogwarts just like she did to everyone else. That was definitely the most time consuming part of her job but she enjoyed keeping busy.

Considering Sora was with Zach now, she was surprised Sora wasn't confronting her about that. She heard about it through the grapevine like she heard about most things. Normally she would just dismiss something and carry on but when she heard about Sora and Zach, it caught her attention. In all the years she had known Zach, she never knew he was bisexual. Of course, it didn't matter to her but was quite shocking.

Not wanting to seem rude, Aubrey smiled over at Sora. "Hello Sora! I'm great, attempting to enjoy the cold weather. Unfortunately I've never been a fan of the cold weather. I think it has something to do with being born in the summer but who really knows." Perhaps this was a trap. Butter her up and then tell her off? Aubrey tried to shrug off the thoughts but they still lingered.

Sora raised an eyebrow at her, perhaps he was being over friendly? "Sorry if I took you off guard, there isn't much going on today at the park, it usually isn't this boring, and when I saw you I just figured". Sora looked down at the ground then looked back up "So you excited for next term to start"? Sora knew that was probably a stupid conversation to start, they were out on break why would they talk about going back, Sora was just nervous this was something he normally didn't do, he felt strange.

Aubrey automatically felt guilty. She didn't want Sora to feel like he did something wrong she was just taken aback is all. She expected to get yelled at or something similar. The cheerful greeting from Sora was the last thing she spotted. Trying to break the tension, she chuckled. "No, no. Let's just say your greeting wasn't one I expected. Honestly, I expected you to yell at me for the whole Zach thing. Obviously, that's over with and we've both moved on." Hopefully she was wording things correctly and not irritating Sora. Normally she didn't irritate people but stranger things have definitely happened.

"Well I'm not teaching anymore. I gave that spot up." She shrugged. Aubrey wouldn't admit it but she was actually relieved she wasn't a Professor anymore. It was more than she could handle. It was a lot of work running the school. Submitting lesson plans and having to be on a schedule like that was just too much for her. It definitely sounded bad but it was the truth. She refused to admit it because she knew how terrible it sounded. "But I am excited to go back. I want to see all the students and see how they've changed. Plus, the school year starting up again just means summer is that much closer."

Aubrey loved summer. Then again, who wouldn't? Warm weather, tanning, bikinis? It sounded like fun to her. Anyone who had a problem with summer was crazy in her opinion. "How about you? Excited? How's Dueling going? I would think the students really enjoy it. Do me a favor though, try not to injure the students too badly. I don't want to give Riza too much work, I might have to give her a raise." She half-joked. The raise part was a joke, the rest was serious.

Sora froze once he heard the words "whole Zach thing"... They had a thing, all Sora knew was that Zack had been with Juniper, no one else. "Excuse me? What do you mean you and Zack"? Sora turned very pale, what was she talking about, what did they do? All these questions were rushing through his head. "What do you mean"?! His voice was now raising and his hands were shaking. He stood there, just staring at her, he was getting more and more pissed off the longer the silence went on.

Well, Sora's reaction certainly wasn't one she expected. Perhaps Zach left out the details of their past? Lovely way to start a conversation with one of your employees. This was actually Zach's fault but Aubrey would take the blame this time. She couldn't help but bite her lip, it was a nervous reaction. How would she explain her and Zach's past? There was so much to it and she never had to explain it to someone else before. They were always private with what they did. Well this was going to be fun for her to tell Sora about.

Aubrey sighed. "Oh, there's so much. It started when I was fifteen, friends with benefits that didn't go all the way. It did, however, go all the way when I was sixteen. We stopped when I was sixteen because he graduated. Our friendship was still there but extremely different from what ti was those few years. We were always friends but things didn't get physical and intimate until I was fifteen."

What else could she tell him? The best thing to do in this situation was to be honest and she couldn't help but wonder why Zach didn't reveal his past with Aubrey to Sora considering they were together or so she heard. When he raised his voice, she got a little annoyed. Aubrey was always a more calm person and when someone raised their voice at her they annoyed her more than aggravated her. "I don't remember when exactly but we reunited and it was more of a goodbye as well as making us just friends without being intimate and physical. I guess you could say it was our way of closing that chapter of our lives and moving on." She shrugged her shoulders.

Sora punched Aubrey in the face, it was awesome "Don't you ever even look at my boyfriend ever you little fucking bitch ass hoe who needs to learn to keep her mother fucking LEGS CLOSED!!!! I don't care if you or friends are not, no more"! Sora then ran out of the park in tears, how could they do something like that to him?

Quinn saw Sora running out of the park, tears covering his face. She looked concerned and stepped in front of him, blocking his path.

"Hey, what's wrong?"
