| Annabelle frowned as she looked over some paperwork, before pausing to scribble something down and continued scanning the parchments. She glanced the clock from the corner of her eye and realized that it was almost time to start her lesson, bundling up her paperwork she stacked them in the corner of her desk, before opting to watch Cheeko, who for some reason was still on his high. She really never would understand that rabbit. | |

| Humming the tune that belonged to the music track "The Wings in my Eyes", Indiana entered the classroom to see the professor at her desk along with her pet rabbit running about the area before taking a seat. Seeing the small creature on hyper-mode reminded Indiana a bit about the two small dogs that Trista had with her back in Godric's Hollow.
Calmly taking a seat, the youth waited for class to start.

| Casey walked into Tranfiguration. She only knew one fifth year, and she wasnt sure if he was in this class. She hoped he was, else she wouldnt know anybody. A quick glance around showed her that there was a rabbit running around the room, her professor sitting at her desk, and a fifth year Ravenclaw had just sat down. Squaring her shoulders Casey walked over and sat near the Ravenclaw. "Hi, i'm Casey" she said to him. Then she pulled out a piece of paper and a quill. | |

| Tristan found himself walking down the hallway with a calm expression on his face, somewhat eager to start his Transfiguration class. It was the first class he was attending as a new student at Hogwarts, so he was pretty sure that was what contributed to his excitement. Rolling his shoulders a bit lazily he walked through the door of the classroom, noticing that he seemed to be a bit early. That didn't bother him though, and he gave a small wave of greeting to his Professor.
Letting his attention move off of her, he noticed that Casey was also in this class. Wandering over he took the seat next to her, offering her a smile. "Hey Casey." He said easily, before pulling out some parchment and his quill in the process. He gave a brief nod to the other guy who he had yet to meet.

| Annabelle smiled at each student as they walked in all the while crossing their names off the class role, she glanced at the clock and frowned a little seeing that Ian was late, 'How unlike him.' She thought idly.

Smiling at the class she started the lesson "Welcome back all to your second term at Hogwarts, I hope you've enjoyed your holiday and are ready to learn once more." She said brightly "Today we will be studying the Pullus spell. Pullus is a spell which turns Erklings into geese, please take out your texts and turn to pages 130 and 131, you will find everything you will need to know about the spell there."

| Indiana had been lost in his thoughts before noticing a girl taking a seat next to him and introducing herself as Casey.
"Nice to meet you, Casey. The name's Indiana." the youth replied before noticing another boy enter the room and sat next to her. He received a nod from the newcomer before nodding back in return just as Professor Fey started the lesson. After hearing her speak about the Pullus spell, Indiana took his book out and opened the page to the required page number.
'Are there any Erklings here to use as test-subjects for this spell?' he thought to himself as he read the text.

| Annabelle smiled turning to the correct page in her own text, she pulled out her wand before addressing the class once more "As you should all know Erklings are considered dangerous creatures as they have a particular affinity for the taste of children. Its high pitch cackle is entrancing to children, and it uses this to lure them away from their guardians to eat them."
She paused for a breath before continuing "The Erklings I'm about to summon have all had a silencing charm placed over them, so you need not worry of their affinity. However I do urge you to keep them in their cages and away from your appliances as they do enjoy shooting darts at unsuspecting victims."
Giving the students some time to move their books, quills and ink pods from their desks she proceeded to summon the fairly short creatures (all in their cages) onto each students desk.
"Have fun and don't hesitate to ask me or your classmates for help if needed. You are allowed to talk amongst yourselves but please do so quietly as to not distract those around you." She said in a seriously tone before smiling and wishing the class luck.

| Casey smiled as Tristan walked in and sat next to her. Say hi back she looked around. Not a lot of people were here. Wierd. She thought. The other boy introduced himself as Indiana. Before Casey could reply the teacher began to speak. Casey listened then took out her text book as the Professor said they would be learning the pullus charm. Casey listened as the teacher explained she was about to summon some Erklings and they should put away some ojects. Casey quickly put her quill and parchment away and then a cage with a creature appeared on her desk. She quickly moved her book before the erkling could grab it. Glancing at the book she pulled out her wand ready to try the spell. | |

| Tristan turned in his chair when he heard the teacher's voice. He was slightly surprised that the lesson was already beginning, because he'd expected more then just two other people in his class. But he realized that this class was specifically for fifth years.. so that was probably why. He shrugged mildly, not exactly caring. Taking out his book and turning to the requested page, he began to scan through the text as the Professor had requested, although he listened to her as she continued to speak. He was rather interested in this lesson, that was for sure. He was glad he'd decided to take this class. And the Professor seemed nice enough, even with the lack of students in his class.
Once he heard the Professor urging them to remove all the items from their desks, he obliged. Shifting his open book into his lap, he quickly put away his ink, parchment, and quill. His wand was settled in the middle of the open book in his lap, and he blinked a bit when the Erkling appeared on his desk. He watched it curiously for a moment as the Professor proceeded to wish them luck, and he glanced back down to his book in order to quickly finish reading the text. Well, this should be fun.

| After reading up on the Pullus spell, Indiana nodded on the major points and critical details before clearing his desk a few seconds before a cage containing the Erkling appeared. The creature looked skeletal with a long nose that protruded out like a spike. It did share some resemblance to a house-elf on a number of features and Indiana wondered if these entities were the child-version of the mythological Syrens.
Taking his wand out, the youth calmly examined the creature further before deciding not to open the cage. Instead, he thought about the features of the goose, both internal and external, before cross-referencing the anatomy to be sure that he got it right.
A moment later, Indiana thought of the transition before aiming his wand between the bars of the cage at the Erkling before chanting. "Pullus!"
Unfortunately, the creature only shuddered a bit in response and it didn't transform.
"Okay. That wasn't good." Indiana muttered to himself before thinking back on what he was probably lacking.

| Annabelle smiled at the students attempts at the spell, yet kept quiet and set her mind on how to get Cheeko off his high, really that rabbit was just too confusing at times. | |

| Casey pictured a goose then the erkling. Then she waved her wand and spoke the incantation. Nothing happened. She tried again. Nothing. After trying it a few more times, all with no luck, she began to get frustrated. The erkling seemed to be laughing at her. Casey thought of the letters she had gotten from her brother when he had been learning this spell. He said he had gotten it on his fifth try. Casey was tired of being bested by her brother. He was a braniac, nerd, and a no it all. Her parents, loved all their kids equally but Casey had always felt less important then her older brother, working at the ministry, and her little sister, who could get away with almost everything. CAsey was the middle child. Just there really. She was tired of it. She wanted her parents to notice that she was as important as her brother and sister. She tried again. This time, the erkling shuddered, Casey thought she saw a faint outline of feathers but nothing else happened. She sighed. | |

| Realizing that he didn't maintained his focus and didn't put enough power into the spell, Indiana took another shot at the Erkling.
Pointing his wand through the bars of the cage, the youth chanted. "Pullus!"
Slowly, the Erkling convulsed and shivered. The nose-like extension began to fuse with the mouth, forming a beak-like bill while the head became roundly smooth and avian-like as the ears disappeared. The neck elongated while the skeletal body began to expand into a bulky and round shape as though being pumped up with flesh. The arms angled and underwent further transformation into wings while the legs changed into orange avian legs with webbed feet. The Erkling's superficial exterior began to sprout gray feathers that covered every centimeter of its body. Eventually, the transfiguration completed and the result was a goose in the place of an Erkling.
