End of the Summer Date Empty
PostSubject: End of the Summer Date   End of the Summer Date EmptySun Dec 12, 2010 11:28 pm

Ryan pulled Reyna down to the grounds with a blindfold on her. He held her hand with their fingers intertwined. He was smiling at her but knew she couldn't see it. There was a table in the middle of the grounds with two plates with covers on them, two glasses, and two big bottles of butterbeer. He was happy Reyna agreed to the date. The sun was just starting to set which made the date even more perfect. He couldn't wait until it was dark and the stars were out. He knew that's when it was going to be the best part. When they reached the table, Ryan held onto the blindfold and whispered into Reyna' ear. "We're here."

Reyna had no idea where Ryan was taking her, but from the fresh air she could feel on her skin, she knew they were outside. She gripped Ryan's hand in hers softly, trusting him enough to know he wouldn't let her fall or walk into anything since she had a blindfold on. Apparently it was necessary. Or so he said. When they finally came to a halt and she heard Ryan whisper in her ear 'we're here', Reyna grinned and asked, "Are you going to let me see now then?"

Ryan smirked at her and removed the blindfold. "I thought about making you eat with the blindfold on but that's just cruel and unusual." He wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled at the table. "I had a few third years help me out. I wanted it to be perfect for you."

Reyna smiled at the sight before her, and rolled her eyes at his comment as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I'm sure you did consider it Pup." She smirked back at him, and turned in his arms, giving him a sweet, soft kiss on the lips. "I'm glad you decided against it though. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to see how good you look." She teased him, eyes playful. "But really, thank you Ryan. It's beautiful." She told him honestly, kissing him once more, before pulling back.

After returning Reyna's kiss Ryan could speak to her. "You look beautiful Reyna. You always do. I'm happy I get to be here with you right now." He kissed her again. "Come on take a seat." He walked with her to her seat and helped her sit down. Once she was sitting, he walked over to his seat and sat in front of her.

"Thanks Ryan. You really do look good yourself." Sitting in the chair Ryan helped her into, Reyna let her eyes look out to the sunset, a genuine smile on her lips. This was something she hadn't expected, but then again, Ryan was full of surprises. Setting her hands in her lap, she grinned over at Ryan. "So a few third years helped you hmm? And what did you do to get said help? Use your charm, or those hard earned muscles of yours?" She teased him playfully. "Really though Ryan. It's perfect. And I'm glad I get to be here with you."

Ryan shrugged. "I do don't I?" He teased her and winked. He couldn't wait for her to find out the second surprise he had in store for her. He knew she wouldn't expect it and that's what made him like it that much more. "Let's just say I helped the third years away from a bully and they owed me one." He wasn't lying to her he never lied to her. There really was a bully that he saved the younger kids from. He was comfortable telling her things about him he would never admit to anyone else but he would never soften all the way. If he did he wouldn't be Ryan Black. "I guess you could say it was the hard earned muscles that saved them. I didn't use any magic for that. This time it was fist for fist and I won. I don't know why I helped them. I never help anyone. Maybe I don't like seeing anyone being bullied."

"You look perfect Reyna. I wouldn't want to be here with anyone but you." He leaned over the table and kissed her. Ryan played with the ends of her hair and then sat back. "There's something different about what's under those covers." He paused and grinned at her. "The food under there is whatever you want. Think of your favorite food something you want right now, anything that you like and it will appear there and taste exactly how it's supposed to." He thought quietly and then picked up his cover to reveal steak, rice, and two cauldron cakes. Your turn beautiful." He put his cover on the table at his side.

Reyna smiled at Ryan. "Well whether you like to help poeple or not Pup, I'm glad to hear you did help." Reyna reached over and squeezed his arm gently, raising an eyebrow and smirking. "And yea. I don't doubt you did win." Her eyes sparkled when he told her how the covers work, and thought for a moments before removing her cover to see fettucini alfredo and chicken. She looked back to Ryan and grinned happily. "Awesome! I guess now all there is to do is see if it tastes like it should."

Ryan smiled at Reyna when she squeezed his arm. "I don't like to tell everyone I help people out. I might lose my reputation. I like being known for who I am. The only person I want to see me like this is you. No one else deserves to see me this way." As she pulled back her cover, Ryan poured them two glasses of Butterbeer. "I hope you like Butterbeer that's all I have." He rolled his eyes at her when she mentioned the flavor of the food. "Trust me it will taste exactly how you want it to taste." He took a bite of his steak and smiled again.

Reyna smiled at him bemusedly. Some of the things he said really did throw her for a loop, but she found herself enjoying the time they spent together more and more. "Well thanks Black. You really know how to make a girl feel special. And yea, I love butterbeer, so no worries. Just relax Ryan. You got me out here. That's the hard part." She flashed him a smirk before taking a bite of her own food. "Perfect."

"You are special Reyna...to me. You already mean more to me than most people do. Our date isn't even close to finished yet Faulkner. You're going to be stuck with me for a while." He looked down at his steak and cut a piece for her. He wanted her to try it. He held the fork out in her direction. "It might be weird for you to try my food but I trust you with my fork and I want your opinion on it." He continued to smile at Reyna.

Reyna couldn't help the small blush that made it to her face at his words. She wasn't sure if she believed him or not about it, but the fact that he admitted she meant something to him was cause enough for her smile brightly at him in return. "Have more than just dinner planned then Black? I look forward to it then." She responded, looking curiously at his fork for a second when he offered it to her before opening her mouth and taking the end with the food in her mouth. She pulled back and chewed the piece of steak before swallowing and grinning back at him. "That's good! But this is even better. Watch." She cut a piece of her chicken and held it out for him to try, and beckoned him closer with a finger. "Come on Pup. You'll love it. I promise."

Ryan leaned forward reluctantly. He didn't know if Reyna was going to shove the chicken up his nose or something nasty. He bit the end of the chicken and pulled it off of the fork. He chewed it and swallowed it. "That is good...really good but I think I'll stick with my steak." He smiled at her and extended his arm across the table to grab her hand and hold it. "Reyna I meant what I said when I told you you're special to me. I want you to know that when I say things like that I say them because I mean them. I wouldn't lie about something like that. And for our second part of this date. I hope you enjoy yourself."

Reyna couldn't help but giggle at the reluctant way he took the bite of chicken, but she smiled brightly at his comment on how good it was. "I don't blame you. That steak is rather delicious." She told him, taking a drink of her butterbeer. She let him take her hand in his, and nodded to his words, sending him a soft smile. "Alright Ryan, I'll believe you. So will you tell me about this second part of the date?" She looked at him hopefully, taking another bite of chicken as she waited for his response.

"Finish eating and hope that is gets dark soon. That's when you can find out the second part." He rubbed her hand with his thumb. With his free hand he took a sip of his butterbeer. The next part is a surprise. He smirked and winked at her. He hoped it would get dark soon. He couldn't wait for the next part of the date.

Reyna pouted at him. "Oh fine. Ruin my fun then." She took another drink of butterbeer before setting her cup down and taking another bite of her food obediently. She let her eyes wander over the sight of the sunset as she chewed, bringing her gaze back to him. A grin exploded on her face as a butterfly came floating by, and subtlely landed on his head. Eyes now dancing in amusement, she shook her head slightly seeing he obviously hadn't noticed. She smirked slyly and ate another bite of food, all the while glancing back to the butterfly on his head. She worked hard not to laugh at the amusing sight, and worked even harder to keep a straight face as she spoke again. "So what classes did you decide to take?"

"Physical fitness, potions, ancient studies, and history of muggles. What about you?" Ryan smiled at her and took a bite of his food.

(OOC: Skipping ahead. Two hours later, it's now 20:30 and the sun has gone down.)

Ryan sat there and held Reyna's hand smiling at her. The food, conversation and company were all good. Now it was time for the second part of the date. He poured them each one more glass of butterbeer. Ryan took Reyna's hand and pulled her down the grounds a little further. He used Lumos to see where they were going.

He stopped at a patch of grass with two blankets on the ground. "Here it is, the second part of our date." Ryan knew Reyna would probably be confused because of the blankets. They were really large blankets. "They aren't for what you think Reyna trust me. It's chilly tonight." He laid one of the blankets flat and sat on it. He placed his Butterbeer at his side on the grass.

"Come here beautiful." He pulled Reyna down and made it so she was sitting with her back to him. Ryan grabbed the other blanket and wrapped it around them. He put his arms around her waist and held her close. "Reyna, look at all the stars." He smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek gently.

"I'm taking potions, charms, transfig, defense and ancient studies. Looks like we'll have atleast two classes together then." She responded, smiling back at him and taking another bite of food.

(OOC: Skipping ahead. Two hours later, it's now 20:30 and the sun has gone down.)

When the sun had finally set and Ryan took her by the hand and lead her further onto the grounds, Reyna questioned him in anticipation but with no luck. He wouldn't give away his little surprise. They came to a spot with a couple of blankets and she watched as he spread one on the ground, rolling her eyes at his comment. "You don't know that's what I was thinking. Unlike you, my head isn't always in the gutter." She teased him lightly, but allowed him to pull her down. He made sure she sat with her back to his chest, situated between his legs.

She set her cup down on the grass next to them before he wrapped the blanket around them. Reyna reclined back against him and smiled as his arms wrapped around her waist. She looked up at the dark sky, the stars littering it like little fireflies. She rested her own arms over his as he kissed her cheek, eyes reflecting the stars she now watched, happy smile on her lips. "They're gorgeous aren't they? Thank you Ryan. It's all been perfect. Especially this part." Reyna loved to star gaze, and even though she didn't take astronomy, she learned alot about the night sky on her own time. But mostly she just liked to look at it.

Ryan loved holding Reyna. He was really enjoying himself on this date. He was with the most amazing and beautiful girl in Hogwarts. "Thank you for coming out here tonight. I was worried you wouldn't." He held unto her hands and kissed her neck softly. =I like that I get to hold you right now. I don't ever want to let you go." He smiled at her even though he knew she couldn't see it. The smile was a genuine happy smile. Reyna really did make him happy and he cherished every minute he spent with her. He didn't care if they wwre fighting, snogging, talking or just cuddling he only wanted to be with her.

Reyna grinned amusedly up at the sky at his words. "You? Worried you'd be stood up? Merlin! Hell must've froze over." She responded playfully. "I said I would come, and I did. You had nothing to be worried about Pup. I keep my word. Though in this case, it was more that I wanted to be here, than just keeping my word." She assured him, tilting her head a bit as he kissed her neck. Reyna was happy being here with Ryan, and wouldn't question his last comment. There was something different in the way he treated her than he treated other girls, and she knew it. And she took it into consideration when he said things like that, even if she sometimes teased him. "I like being in your arms. It feels good. And safe."

He kissed her neck again when she tilted her head back."No more neck kisses for you beautiful." He teased her.Ryan wrapped the blanket around them more. He wanted to make sure she was warm at all times.

Reyna rolled her eyes, though she knew he couldn't see. "I'm hardly one for gossip Black. What you tell me is yours to tell, not mine. But if it makes you feel better, I promise not to tell. Ryan Anthony." She couldn't help adding the last part, her eyes lit in both mischief and amusement. "As for the kissing, well, your loss." She retorted nonchalantly, shrugging gracefully, though a smirk played on her lips.

"Good I'l keep that in mind...Reyna Alice" He knew it would surprise her that he remembered her middle name but that's why he used it. He wanted to surprise her. He rolled his eyes at her. "You make it impossible to resist you when you act like that." Ryan tilted her face so he could kiss her from the side. It was a simple kiss but one that was going to mean something. It wasn't just to say he kissed her. He wanted her to realize there was more feeling and emotion in that one.

Reyna was a bit surprised he even remembered her middle name, but she wrinkled her nose in distaste. "Oh you would Black. I rather detest my middle name, just so you know. And act like what?" She questioned, before finding her face being turned to him a bit. She smiled slightly into the kiss, sensing the difference in this one just like the ones in the common room.

Ryan continued to kiss Reyna. He wasn't ready to pull away yet. He wanted to enjoy this kiss. He held her face in place and continued to kiss her. He gave her bottom lip a little nip at the end. "You say things that make me want you more. I know it would be my loss if I didn't kiss you. That's something I don't want to lose out on."
