A... Date?

Aiden gulped mentally as he apparated to Hogsmeade from his house, dressed in a fairly simple black suit... Mainly for the reason he had no idea what to wear really. He looked around to see if his companion had arrived yet, but she hadn't. He decided to wait outside the café. That way he would be able to see her easier. He drew his over-coat around him a little more, it certainly seemed likely for it to be a White Christmas this year. aiden wasn't thrilled about that in all honesty though, sometimes Muggle transport was the best, and he doubted it would be easy to go in his car in these conditions. He shrugged though, and put it to the back of his mind. He looked around for his... Date? He supposed that would be the word, Aiden was never the best at all the romantic stuff. He waited for Amber in any case, and wondered how she'd been doing.

Amber stood in front of her mirror fixing things about her appearance before she apparated to Hogsmeade. Arriving in the snowy streets, Amber almost instantly regretted wearing a dress. "Merlin it's cold." She muttered as she began her walk up the street, pulling her coat tighter around herself, there was nothing she could do about her cold legs though.

As she walked Amber tried to wrap her head around what this actually was. "A... Date?" She questioned aloud. She knew this wasn't just a 'friend' thing, that she was almost sure of.

Amber walked up to the café and looked around for her... Date? Nope, Sounds odd at the moment. Just Aiden. Looking around for Aiden she finally spotted him. She smoothed down her hair before making her way over. "Hello."

Aiden checked his watch, he wondered... had he been stood up? Wait... His watch was wrong, after using a quick tempus charm he realised he was just here early. He shook his head in disbelief at himself, and waited, feeling a bit of a fool. He wondered exactly what this was... Would it be a date? He knew it wasn't friends on a night out... It was more than that, right? He thought it was... Aiden nodded to himself, it was.

He looked round, watching everyone as they went past, he realised he'd have to get some Christmas Shopping done soon enough, and he was dreading it. He was never the best at picking gifts out for people, meaning Birthdays and Christmas he tended to make people feel annoyed or angry than happy. he just hoped it wouldn't be a repeat of that this year.

Aiden looked around again, and couldn't help but smile when he saw Amber approach, he quickly smoothed down his clothes, well, as little as they could be under the circumstances. Upon her hello, he mock bowed. "Why Hello milady." He said grinning, before gesturing to the Café. "Shall we?" He asked, grinning cheerfully.

Amber had decided not to walk too quickly after she glanced at her watch. She was early, it would've seemed odd or maybe a bit pushy if she arrived to soon. Her thoughts as she walked were settled on Christmas, and how not ready she was for the holiday. 'Shopping time.' She thought with a sigh.

When Aiden bowed she curtsied back with a smirk. "We shall, Kind Sir." She said straightening up and opening the door.

Aiden smiled again, allowing Amber to go into the café first. Upon entering, he led Amber quickly to what he hoped would be a good table, next to a window that spilled plenty of sunlight into the room. "What would you like to eat?" He asked, having half wished he had thought of all this beforehand, he felt terribly unprepared.

Amber walked in before him and sat down at the selected table with a smile. She appraised the menu for a moment after he asked her what she would like to eat. "Hmm... I think I'll have a Chicken Caesar Salad." She said placing her menu back down on the table. "So Aiden.." She said racking her brain for topics of conversation. "You ready for the holidays?"

"And could I have a grilled cheese and ham sandwich please?" He added onto what Amber said, before the waiter went off. "Not much actually. I'll probably just end up hibernating through it." He said with a wry chuckle. "How about you? Are you planning much for the holidays?" He asked, unsure of any other options for conversation.
