Double Date

Ian walked into The Three Broomsticks noticing he was the first of his friends to get there. He found an empty booth and took a seat choosing to wait for the others before he ordered. He sat on the side of the booth so he could watch the door looking for Oli, Alli, or Pat. He hoped the all liked the gifts he got for them along with his new hair color. Well not really new considering it was his natural colour, but he still hoped they liked it. A loud grumbling noise erupted from his stomach, 'I also hope the hurry up and get here...' he thought idily to himself, 'I'm starving.'

She knew she was due to meet Ian, Pat, and someone else she'd never met before at The Three Broomsticks, and soon, so she found herself rushing along, pretty eager to get there. That, and she didn't want to keep any of them waiting. Even as patient as she thought they could be, it would still be nice to get there a little bit earlier, right?

She pushed open the door to the place, her blue eyes immediately glancing around as she took a deep breath. It didn't take her long to spot Ian .. with a new hair color? Her eyes lit up almost immediately at the sight of her friend, and she walked over to him, a smile on her face. She placed her hands on her hips as she pretended to get a good look at him. "Well well, look at you." She teased, chuckling at her words. "Looking good." She said after a moment, her smile turning into a grin. Well, it appeared as if the other two weren't there yet, so she felt better about being early.

Besides, it was good to have just a couple of minutes alone with Ian as they waited for the others to show. She hadn't seen her friend in a while.

He grinned excitedly when he saw Alli entering, and grinned even brighter when she recognized and approached him. "Drats you found me," he said draamatically, "my attempts at subterfuge have been thwarted." Hopping up out of his seat he hugged Alli tightly, "Long time no see beautiful." He pulled away and ran his hands through his hair, "Yeah...I decided to go back to my natural hair color. You really like it?"

Before siting back down he pulled out the bags with the Gryffindor qudditch robes he'd gotten for Alli and the gift bag of beauty supplies. "Ian Clause comes bearing gifts for the pretty lady." He smiled and handed them over to her.

Walking into the Three Broomsticks, Patrick grinned at the sight of his girlfriend and the boy who was becoming his best friend. Ian had... a new hair color it seemed. Patrick gave a mental shrug, it looked good on him.

"Hey Ian," Pat said walking over to the table. He slid into a chair next to Alli. "Hey Kitten," he told her, using the nickname he'd made up for her. "Hope I didn't keep you two waiting long."

He actually hadn't much time for shopping--he'd been working the whole time. He was able to pick up a sweet box though, for all of them.

"New hair color mate?" he asked, making sure his bag of sweets was still around his arm. "Looks good."

Her eyes rolled lightly at his words. "How could I miss you, handsome?" She said with a playful grin, giggling with glee as he jumped up and hugged her tightly. She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him back just as tightly, her eyes sparkling. She gave him a kiss on the cheek before he pulled away, her head tilting to the side as she took in his new hair. "Yes, I really do like it. It looks good." She said seriously, the smile still on her lips. "And I know, long time no see. How did I survive without seeing you?!" She brought the back of her hand to her forehead dramatically, laughing as she did so.

She slid into the seat opposite of Ian, and her eyes widened slightly at the gifts he gave her. "Aw, Ian!" She said happily, leaning across the table to give him another quick hug. "Thank you so much!" She took the gifts happily. "You really didn't have to do that though." She added, before she reached beside her, retrieving the gift she'd purchased for Ian. "I was going to buy you a new broom, but considering you beat me to it.. here you go." She blushed a bit, hoping he'd like it, handing him over the Omni-oculars. "Figured they'd come in handy while watching Quidditch." She smiled sheepishly. "But whenever you need a new broom, let me know. I promise I'm getting you one."

Hearing a familiar voice she looked up quick, and she nearly jumped out of her seat happily when she saw who it was. "Hey!" She said happily, then shook her head. "Nope, you didn't." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek in greeting, then glanced back toward Ian, a happy smile on her face. With her two favorite boys, why wouldn't she be happy? "For you." She added, pushing the Sneakoscope toward Pat.

Patrick grinned as Alli kissed him on the cheek.

"Well, I'm glad I didn't keep you waiting," he said with a smile. It wouldn't do to keep two of his favorite people waiting too long. He looked at the Sneakoscope and grinned. "Wicked," he said. "I've always wanted one. Thanks Alli!"

He brought out the sweet boxes he'd managed to buy before he came in and said "This is for you," pushing one of them toward Alli and the other one to Ian.
