| Willow stood in near the shore with books in hand as she looked out at the water. She always liked looking at it, but never going in it. She didn't know why, but she had a great fear of water. Thinking for a moment, her eyes looked around for anyone that could be watching. She walked over to a tree and sat on its roots. a smile across her face as she opened her light spell book for healing and read in the quietness since it was not supposed to rain that day. tucking a piece of blonde hair behind her ear, the day seemed to be going nice. Her bag next to the ground and her shoes sitting next to it allowing her bare feet to touch the wood of the tree. she loved nature, believing her love for nature came from her great grandfather and her mother. |

| Alexander decided that because he was bored and had nothing else to do, he would take a walk by the lake. He hadn't breather in a while, and it would be a nice change of scenery. The weather was on the warmer side for having been toward the end of Winter, and he inhaled the air, holding it in his lungs for a few extra seconds then normal. Continuing his stroll, he eventually made his way to the edge of the lake. Glancing at his reflection, he ran his fingers through his tousled hair before turning away from the lake. That was when he noticed someone else there, not too far off.. he hadn't noticed her before. In fact, he wasn't sure if he'd ever seen her before at all.
Pausing for a few moments, he noticed that she was reading.. but he couldn't help it. His legs were soon closing the distance between himself and the blonde girl, and after a moment he stopped in front of her. "Hey." He said in his friendly tone. "Whatchya reading?" Had to start conversation somewhere.

| lifting her head, her ears picked up someone walking towards her. Quickly close her book, Willow's eyes darted towards the man that was walking towards them. Pulling her blonde hair back over her shoulders, she didn't say anything at first till he was close enough to say hello. But before she could say it, she was stopped by the fact he greeted her first and asked her what she was reading. It caught her a little off guard.
"Um..." Willow looked at the title of the book in her lap. "Just something on Healing spells. Lovely day huh? Oh and hello....almost forgot my manners." Willow laughed. She opened the book back up, putting her back against the tree while sitting on the roots. HEr eyes went back to the pages keeping in mind that there is someone there. "I'm Willow." Trying to be polite about it, she didn't want to be rude and not introduce herself. She didn't really speak to many people in the school since she started six years ago, this is her seventh and final year. Last year to get the final studying for her future career and what she wants. |

| Alex brought his green eyes to hers hesitantly, noticing she closed her book once he'd said something to her. Once again he felt slightly bad about disturbing her reading, but he didn't comment on it just yet. He realized he seemed to have caught her a bit off guard by asking what she was reading, but he nodded with a slight smile when she told him. "Oh.. thats interesting." He said casually. It really was, now that he thought about it. Things like that would certainly come in handy. "Yeah, it is pretty nice out." He added agreeably, shrugging with a chuckle when she said she'd forgotten her manners.
Nothing was said for a moment when she opened the book back up, and he glanced around a bit when she kept reading. Maybe he should just walk away now.. he was beginning to feel a bit awkward. But then he heard her speaking again, and he was catching her name. Another slight smile was offered to her. "I'm Alexander. You can just call me Alex.. nice to meet you." He said with a small nod, then glanced over his shoulder again. "If you want to keep reading in peace, I'll go." He said with a shrug. He wouldn't mind if that was what she wished.

| Turning her attention to Alex, she felt a little bad she was ignoring someone whom was nice enough to say hello. Thinking for a moment, Willow gave him a nice smile. "Alexander...That is a cool name. Nice to meet you Alex." Willow smirked, trying to be friendly and not rude. She always had that problem since being a first year. Brushing people off by accident, she didn't mean to really. Holding out the book to him.
"Want to take a read? I hope spring come early. I would much like to see the flowers in bloom here." thinking for a moment, Willow stood up still holding out the book to him. A thought popped in the back of her head wondering if she should message her great grandfather for some new books to read, but then again she was interested into talking to people at the moment. "Ravenclaw right?" |

| Alex felt Willow turning her attention to him, but he merely gave her a small upturn of his lips, sliding his large hands into the confinements of his jean pockets. Though all of a sudden she was giving him a rather nice smile, and he paused for a moment before offering one in return. "Thanks." He said easily, appreciating the compliment. He wasn't sure if she actually meant it or if she felt she needed to redeem herself from ignoring him, but he still took it without asking any further questions. Made it easier that way. He could tell she was trying her best to be friendly though, and he wasn't going to sit there and reject it. So he figured he'd just have to lighten up a little more in response. Not that he usually had any problems with that.. he enjoyed making conversation with people he'd just met. Always learned something interesting.
He was a bit surprised when she offered the book out to him, but he paused for a moment before hesitantly nodding, reaching out to grasp it. He took it lightly before flipping it over in order to read it better, his eyes quickly beginning to scan the words. He glanced up briefly as she stood up, but he was soon looking back down to the words as he read them. Nodding when she mentioned his house, he wondered how she knew that - or if it were really that obvious. "Yep. You're either in.... Ravenclaw or Gryffindor?" He mused, looking up again from what he was reading with a curious look on his face.
