Only A Drink Away

Jaeden decided that going for a butterbeer sounded like a good idea right about now. She entered the three broomsticks and made her way to the bar, virtually unnoticed. She spotted a various number of her students in the place, not surprising since it was a Hogsmeade weekend, and one reason she was in the little town in the first place. To those that did notice her she provided a grin and nod. At the bar, she ordered her butterbeer and after receiving it took a seat at an empty table near the window. She had always enjoyed people watching.

He needed a drink, badly. It was why he was rushing towards The Three Broomsticks, not stopping until he reached the entrance door, and opening it, let himself into the pub. Scanning his eyes around the room, he saw a woman sitting alone on the far side, and smiling to himself, walked first to the front, ordering his butterbeer, and then strutted towards her.

“I wonder if you could do with some company,” he asked.

Jaeden was brought out of her thoughts by a guy approaching her, and in his own way, asking to join her. He looked around her age, if she had to guess, and he was rather good looking, but that hardly did much to impress her. Jaeden had seen plenty of handsome faces in her travels, so while she could appreciate a good looking guy when she saw one, she hardly fell all over them. That just wasn't her style, and she thanked Merlin every day that it wasn't.

She grinned slightly and nodded, gesturing casually to the empty seats. "I guess it would be rather ridiculous to turn down a bit of company. I'm Jaeden, by the way."

The woman was beautiful he had to give her that, but he had seen many of them. Seating himself down, he gave her a quick smile.

“Dion Reid,” he introduced, before taking a sip of his drink.

"Nice to meet you Dion. Do you live here in Hogsmeade?" Jaeden asked curiously, thinking maybe he was some sort of local or something. Atleast, that's what they called them back home. She couldn't be sure if it were the same here. She realized maybe a little too late that it might be a bit rude to ask something like that, and gave him an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I don't mean to pry. Just curious. I don't really know anyone around here. I'm from the United States. Only reason I'm still here is because I somehow managed to land myself a teaching job." She rolled her eyes at herself, and took a drink of her butterbeer. She hadn't really told him anything of importance, or anything he wouldn't have learned somewhere in this conversation anyways. And for the most part, Jaeden was just an outgoing person.

Daliah entered the Three Broomsticks and let out a sigh of relief, she honestly thought she wasn't going to be able to get all the way here without being called back into her office to be updated about some 'dire situation' that really ended up just being a talking toilet.

Daliah had been working over time this whole week, not that she minded of course, however she did wish to have some free time of her own. Going up to the counter she ordered a butterbeer, taking the beverage she saw two people younger then herself talking to each other, shrugging she thought she might as well get to know more people while here. Walking up to them she asked "Do you mind if I join you two?"

Setting her drink back down on the table, Jaeden's gaze fell onto the woman who was now standing next to the table her and the guy, Dion, were seated at. Jaeden nodded politely in reply to the woman's request, and gestured to the empty seats. "Have at it. I'm Jaeden, by the way. Jaeden Davis."

Daliah smiled at the other woman who replied, Jaeden she said her name was. "Thank you Jaeden, I'm Daliah Rozlyn. It's a pleasure to meet you both" She said before taking a seat next to both occupants at the table.
